Applied Communication Arts

Program description on main NSCC site »

Note: The Applied Communication Arts Program (ACAT) at AVC has been suspended until the 2011-2012 school year. The program is not cancelled. The current ACAT students who plan on continuing in the one-year Graphic Design Diploma will still be able to do so for the 2009/10 academic year. Since there will be no ACAT students transitioning to the Graphic Design Diploma program for 2010, there will not be an intake of Graphic Design students in 2010. The plan is for the new arts foundation program to return to the Campus in 2011, followed by the new graphic design diploma program in a new two-year format in 2012.
