Try a Test Drive, this can be arranged through your school and our campus. Come and spend the day observing how the course flows. Is it for you? Mingling with students and clients in the salon? Pricing is comparable and less expensive then other training facilities but every school follows the same curriculum as set by the Cosmetology Association of N.S.

We offer training in Hairdressing, Esthetics and Nail Technician.

What else do you need to know?

The program starts every 13 months with September and January intakes.
You need a “model”, someone reliable to practice on for the last 3 months to prepare for exams.
We travel to at least two Trade shows, one in Moncton and one in Halifax, these are two day shows
We do some training in “competition work”.
The Salon is open to the public and you should invite your friends and family to practice on. (There are fees for services)
We are a “Portfolio College” that really portrays your talent and performance at the end of the program.

Your Instructor, Karen Giffen-Balcom, is a previous Graduate of NSCC with licenses in Hair, Esthetics and Nail Technology.
