Plumbing students will use construction site mockups like this.

AVC will be offering a Plumbing Program starting in September 2007. This 1 year course will give you a solid education in plumbing and a foot inside many different areas of work, from the manufacturing industry and institutional maintenance to the service industry, sales and plumber apprentice.

Plumber is an apprenticeable trade in Nova Scotia. Graduates of this program will be eligible for transfer credit upon registration in the Provincial Apprenticeship Program.

The NSCC Journeyperson Diploma recognizes the accomplishments of graduates who have successfully completed an extensive portfolio of technical training, essential skills, education and practical experience in their trade.
